Just finishing swimming lessons?
If you are hoping to transition from a Learn to Swim programme and enter a club setting you will be invited to a trial session.
Potential members should be able to confidently swim 100m and/or at Stage 7 of NPTS.
At Morpeth ASC we have 8 different squads with swimmers aged 6yrs to 18yrs who range from those who have just finished swimming lesson to Olympic Trials qualifiers!

We hold a number of trials sessions for potential new members throughout the season. Our Enquiries Officer will arrange a trial for you.
Why do I need a trial?
Before admitting swimmers to the club, the coach will assess their ability in order to assign them to the correct squad or place their name on the appropriate waiting list if necessary.
To ensure that all club members attain their full swimming potential, swimmers are put into squads according to their ability. The decision about which squad is suitable for a swimmer is made by the coaching team.
