THE COMMITEE
The club is organised and administered by committee.
The committee is elected annually at the club's Annual General Meeting.
Club members (aged over 18) are eligible for nomination to any committee post.

In addition to the above roles, the Head Coach currently acts as Schools Co-ordinator and Disability Liaison.

The club chairperson is the principal officer for the club and is elected by the club members.

Treasurer

The Treasurer of the club is responsible for producing and managing the club’s accounts and finances and will oversee all income and expenditure for the club.

The club vice chairperson works closely with club chair supporting them to undertake the leadership and governance responsibilities of the club.

The club membership secretary is the key link between the club and the Swim England membership team. They look after they the day to day registration of all club members with Swim England

The club enquiries officer is the point of contact for information about the club and organises club trails.

The club fundraising officer provides a central point of contact for fundraising queries and takes the lead on developing opportunities for accessing grants and funding.

This role is essential in providing a first point of contact for children, parents and adults
within the club who have a child safeguarding or welfare concern.

Sarah also ensures that all relevant club members, volunteers and staff have an up to date DBS Enhanced Disclosure and the opportunity to
access appropriate child safeguarding training.
